The Golden State Warriors have won two-straight championships and three out of the last four Finals, and yet general manager Bob Myers says the organization is not a perfect place.
Myers was speaking to local reporters Tuesday after what transpired Monday night at Staples Center. Draymond Green and Kevin Durant got into a heated argument on the bench and it spilled over to the postgame locker room.
Green reportedly called Durant a bit** multiple times.
As a result, the Warriors suspended Green for Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks without pay. Myers says just because Golden State is the best team in the league, doesn't mean they don't have issues behind the scenes like every other club in the NBA.

After the Warriors won the 2018 championship, David West, now retired, said a lot of things happened with the Warriors that people didn't see or read about. These are competitive grown men playing 82 games a year and then in the playoffs with the same guys. NBA players spend more time with the team than they do with their families. At some point, you're going to get annoyed with one another.
Plus, the Warriors hate losing and aren't accustomed to it. What transpired between Green and Durant happens all the time. It appears the Warriors were just taken back by Green using profanities at Durant. They did the right thing by suspending him.
Is this something that's going to plague the Warriors all season? It's highly doubtful. This roster is too talented. Things should get better once superstar point guard Stephen Curry returns to the lineup as well. The two-time league MVP is currently out with an adductor strain.
