Isaiah Thomas is still on a mission to make it back to the NBA. That's despite failing to secure a contract with the Golden State Warriors following a reportedly “strong week of workouts” with the team. The point guard let his emotion out in a spirited tweet Saturday morning.

The 32-year-old Isaiah Thomas hasn't been the same since going under the knife to repair a hip problem in March 2018, when he was still with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Last season, Thomas appeared in just three games with the New Orleans Pelicans, during which he posted averages of 7.7 points, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 rebounds in 16.0 minutes per contest. The Pelicans did not sign him to a new deal after the expiration of a 10-day contract he originally inked with the team, paving the way for Thomas to hit the free-agent market.

IT could still continue to gain interest among NBA teams, but his days as a hot commodity are obviously long gone. With his size, history of injuries, and age, Thomas will be lucky to get a guaranteed contract that will last for at least a year. Nevertheless, it's nice to see Thomas, even after failing to impress the Warriors enough for the team to give him a contract, show a burning desire to keep working towards his goal.
