Former NBA guard and current ESPN TV analyst Jalen Rose says Golden State Warriors star small forward Kevin Durant's workout prior to Game 4 of the NBA Finals “did not go well on any level.”

Durant is still recovering from the right calf injury he suffered in the second round of the playoffs against the Houston Rockets. Saturday marks exactly one month since the Warriors superstar sustained the injury.

Rose says he's now leaning toward thinking Durant won't play at all in the Finals. The Warriors are down 3-1 in the series. Game 5 is on Monday up in Toronto.

“I'm really familiar with the setup, workout that KD had yesterday with the team,” Rose said on ESPN after the game, per Pros and Joes. “And I'm going to tell you guys, it didn't go well on any level. It did not go well on any level. I'm just going to keep it at that.

“I went from being a guy that thinks that he may come back later in the series. Now I feel like he might not come back at all.”

It's pretty evident Durant's injury is more serious than the Warriors are publicly admitting. Head coach Steve Kerr keeps saying he's hopeful Durant will play in the series, but the odds of that happening seems increasingly low.

The Warriors have to win Game 5 at Scotiabank Arena to keep their season alive. Without Durant, though, it's hard to envision that happening.
