The Golden State Warriors have two active players suiting up for the NBA All-Star game. While Dub Nation is always excited to see Stephen Curry in the game, the buzz surrounding Andrew Wiggins was arguably the biggest among all selections this season.
That level of excitement is clearly shared by his fellow All-Stars as well. Joel Embiid, Karl-Anthony Towns and Trae Young were all mic'd up talking about Andrew Wiggins during the NBA All-Star Game practice.
“You went to Golden State and you turned into a Splash Brother, too,” said Embiid to the Warriors' first-time All-Star. “You out there spotting up threes.”

Their comments aren't without merit. Andrew Wiggins was a subpar shooter from beyond the arc during his first five and a half seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves, shooting at a pedestrian 33.2% clip.
In his first full season in Golden State last year, he shot a then career-high 38.0% from three and built on that this season by becoming a 41.4% three-point shooter. Amazingly enough, he's shooting much better than Stephen Curry so far this season. The Warriors point guard is at just 37.8% from three at the NBA All-Star break.
After seemingly underperforming relative to expectations as a number one overall pick, Andrew Wiggins is now an NBA All-Star. Going to Golden State has turned his career right around – and Warriors fans are happy to have him.
