Jordan Poole had another impactful performance off the bench for the Golden State Warriors on Monday as the Dubs came out with a hard-fought 104-94 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Game 6 will now shift back to Boston on Thursday night and as it turns out, Poole had nothing but good things to say about the city.

There has been a lot of animosity between the Warriors and the Celtics fanbase, particularly towards Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. Poole appears to be saving himself from the trouble of having to deal with the Boston mob by giving the city its flowers:

“Boston's cool. Beautiful,” Poole said, via Warriors on NBCS on Twitter. “I didn't know it was as nice as it was, especially in the summertime it's really nice. Only have nice things to say.”

Despite his nice words, however, I'm pretty sure Poole still expects nothing less than a raucous welcome back in Boston when they face off against the Celtics on their home floor on Thursday night. This is going to be the last game of the season in the TD Garden and you can be sure that Celtics fans will be all out.
