Philadelphia 76ers rising star Tyrese Maxey went full reporter mode for the NBA during Media Day and one of his assignments was to do an interview with Golden State Warriors stud Jordan Poole. Maxey had a number of great questions for the Warriors guard and naturally, they had to talk about Poole's supreme confidence.

When Maxey asked Poole how he's able to come into games with so much confidence despite playing alongside some future Hall of Famers, the Warriors stud had a very inspiring response (h/t NBA on Twitter):

“Just the work. You're a prime example of that,” Poole told Maxey. “You go out there and just playing the game. Evrything that you're doing on the court, it's not like you're doing it for the first time, bro. You've been doing that over and over and over again. Nights after nights after nights and thousands of shots, so just being able to get that opportunity during a game, it's just like second nature.”

As Poole said, Maxey himself is a prime example of putting the work in behind the scenes. These two young players have a similar career trajectory in that they are likely to be stars in the near future — if they aren't already.

Nevertheless, it's Poole who will have his first shot at some hardware as he hopes to help the Warriors overcome the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals.
