United States Vice President Kamala Harris apparently took a big L the day she won the election. Harris, who's from Oakland, was gifted by the Golden State Warriors a special commemorative jersey to honor her win in the 2020 elections.
In a talk with actor Michael B. Jordan ahead of Sunday's All-Star festivities, Harris confessed that it took her a few minutes to decode what was written on the jersey. The “We Believe” jersey that was gifted to her by the Warriors had “Oakland Forever” written on the front as a tribute to the team's old home as well as Harris' hometown.
At the back, it had “Madame VP” and the number 49 alongside Stephen Curry's autograph. This, evidently, threw Harris off.
“After we won the election and I became vice president, the Warriors had a special jersey that had Oakland in the front, but it had 49 on [the back],” Kamala Harris said, via NBA Twitter. “I was like, ‘I don’t think Steph’s number is 49.’ And then I realized, ‘I’m the 49th Vice President!'”

We're pretty sure the Warriors can forgive Madame VP for that slight blunder. In the same interview, Kamala Harris also mentioned that she's a huge fan of the Dubs, which means that jersey is definitely hanging up somewhere special.
The Warriors would take all the moral support they can get as they try to get into a playoff spot as the second half of the season is about to begin. They're currently at the ninth spot in the Western Conference and are looking to make it back to the postseason after missing it in 2019-20.
