A lot will be riding on the upcoming NBA Finals for Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors as they take on the Boston Celtics. It's their legacy on the line here as the Dubs look to win their fourth title in the past six seasons. Golden State is out to prove that their dynasty is not yet over.

Kendrick Perkins does not think this is true, though. According to the former NBA champ turned ESPN analyst, this will be the last chance for Stephen Curry and the Warriors to win a title:

“You know what, I don't see going past this year. I really don't,” Perkins said on a recent episode of First Take. “I think if they had any opportunity, it's for them to win it right now. I don't see it going past this year. It's no disrespect to Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, but it's talking about the growth of the NBA… Teams are going to reload this offseason. We watched the growth of the league. We watched how guys got better, teams got better… I think this is their golden opportunity to capture another championship right now.”

Does Perkins have a point here? Is it now or never for Steph and his Warriors?

Stephen A. Smith was having none of it, though. He quickly shut down his co-host's hot take by making an equally audacious declaration about the Warriors potentially winning two more championships in the next three years. Talk about opposing views, right?
