Today is a good day to be a Golden State Warriors fan. According to the team's Twitter account, the Warriors are expecting star forwards Kevin Durant and Draymond Green back in the lineup for tonight's nationally televised home game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

“Injury updates for tonight's game vs. Milwaukee: Kevin Durant (right rib soreness) & Draymond Green (flu-like symptoms) are available to play. Chris Boucher (sprained left ankle) & Omri Casspi (sprained right ankle) are out,” the team tweeted.

This is awesome news, considering Golden State has been absolutely ravaged by the injury bug as of late with Durant, Green, as well as star guard duo Stephen Curry (sprained left MCL) and Klay Thompson (broken right thumb).

Curry is extremely likely to miss at least the first round of the Western Conference playoffs, as his MRI originally had him slated to return after 3-6 weeks.

“We’re just trying to be smart,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Tuesday, via Jason Owens of Yahoo Sports. “When KD feels like he’s ready to go, we’re going to give him two extra days until the next game just to be really safe. I mean, the last thing we want is for anybody to re-injure something or have something linger, so we’re going to be extra cautious with everybody.”

The defending champion Warriors, who have lost six of their last nine games to fall to a 54-20 record on the season, are still going to have their hands very full tonight against the Bucks and star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
