In his 11th season in the NBA, Kevin Durant has well established himself as one of the premier players in the league behind his elite ability on both ends of the floor.

Durant spent the first nine years of his career with the Thunder where he achieved a huge amount of success both with the team and individually. He helped lead the franchise to six playoff appearances along with five Northwest division titles, five 50-win seasons, and a trip to the NBA Finals. Meanwhile, he collected seven All-Star Game selections, five All-NBA First Team nods, an All-NBA Second Team nod, four scoring titles, and an NBA Rookie of the Year.

Throughout this time in his career, he established himself as one of the top players in the league with his ability to be one of the premier scorers in the league that can lead a franchise to plenty of success. This next chapter of his career with the Golden State Warriors has allowed him to take that to the next level by stepping as the leading offensive spark plug for a legitimate championship powerhouse that saw him capture NBA Finals MVP in his first go around.

He has taken his play to the next level by becoming a more efficient scorer along with a larger presence at the rim defensively that has made him a more complete overall player. Granted, he has had the opportunity to play with some of the league's best talents around, he made what has seemed like a seamless transition into that lead offensive role. If the core group is to continue to remain together, it could see them continue to contend for a few more titles over the next several years.
