Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry shared a special postgame embrace after the Brooklyn Nets blew out the Golden State Warriors, 134-117, on Saturday night. It marked the final time the two former teammates will see each other on the floor in the regular season.

Saturday was the first time Durant went back to Golden State after leaving via free agency in the summer of 2019. The Warriors gave Durant a touching tribute video during the game.

The Steph and KD-led Warriors were one of the all-time greatest teams in NBA history, and they were definitely one of the most fun teams to watch. Together, the superstar duo along with Klay Thompson and Draymond Green ran through the entire league in dominant fashion. They won back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018, with Durant claiming Finals MVP honors in both years.

While that golden era of Dubs basketball is already in the past, KD still appreciates the time he had in the Bay Area.

Both Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry missed the 2019-20 season, with the latter sitting out all but five games due to a broken hand. With both generational talents back in the league (but no longer on the same side), the two are proving once again why they are still among the elite players in the game.

Much like their opening night clash, Brooklyn dominated Golden State en route to their season sweep of the Dubs. Kevin Durant led Brooklyn with 20 points, five rebounds, and six assists as they coasted to the 17-point victory. Kyrie Irving top-scored for the Nets with 23 points, while James Harden notched a double-double with 19 points and 16 assists.

Meanwhile, Stephen Curry led Golden State with 27 points on 10-of-17 shooting. Unfortunately, his 13-game streak with four or more triples came to a close, as he nailed just two triples for the Warriors on the evening.
