Last night, the Golden State Warriors were able to close out a tight game against the Toronto Raptors, beating them 127-125. The Warriors held quite a big lead at halftime and few people expected the Canadian franchise to play a competitive second half. The fans were very involved in the game, and Canadian rapper Drake was sitting courtside watching. Drake has a very good relationship with a couple of Warriors, like Stephen Curry and Durant, and got into the trash-talk games early.
During post-game media availability, Durant was asked if Drake being out there, talking trash, made the game funnier and gave it a better atmosphere. In a video courtesy of The Mercury News' Mark Medina, the current Finals MVP said:

But he does bring a different element to the game, someone who is so close to the organization and to the city, everybody realizes when we playing Toronto. It was a fun game. The crowd is always amazing here, I'm glad it was a solid turnout and we got the W.”
At one point, Durant missed a wide-open dunk, hitting the back of the rim, and the ball went flying out of bounds. After the moment, Drake was caught screaming, “That's trash!” About the incident, Durant said:
“Yeah, I hated missing that one. I had to ignore him because I heard him talking some trash on the sidelines, but I made up for it the next play.”
It is all in good fun between Durant and Drake. KD stated before that Drake is his favorite rapper. Also, the Canadian shouted out Durant and made a couple of references to him in the song Weston Road Flows from his album Views (2016).
