In their win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, the Golden State Warriors' Kevin Durant dropped 28 points on 12-of-13 shooting, making it the most efficient game of his career.

Per Warriors PR, Durant set a new career record with his 12-of-13 shooting or 92.3 percent. His previous best was against the Phoenix Suns on February 12, 2018, where he shot 8-of-9 or 88.9 percent. In addition, Durant converted on his first 10 shots before missing.

Also, the former MVP passed Glenn Rice for 25th all-time in 3-point field goals made. His lone 3-pointer in against the Grizzlies brought his tally to 1,560 3-pointers.

It definitely was a historic night for one of the most talented scorers that the league has ever seen. In his 12-year career, Durant has notched four scoring titles (2010–2012, 2014).

In 2013, he joined the exclusive 50-40-90 club — the group of players who have had a shooting percentage at or above 50% for field goals, 40% for three-pointers, and 90% for free throws during an entire NBA regular season (minimum of 300 field goals, 82 three-pointers, and 125 free throws). So far, only seven players are part of the club.

Speed, height, length, and a prodigious shooting stroke have made Durant a tough cover for defenses. At the beginning of his career, Durant favored isolation plays but once he matured, he became an excellent off-ball player. Now, analysts and coaches have been praising his excellent defense as well. Without a shadow of a doubt, Durant will go down as one of the best to ever play the game.
