Klay Thompson came up big for the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night as the Dubs draw first blood in their first-round series against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Warriors star produced a huge defensive play against Ja Morant in what would have been a game-winning lay-up from the Grizzlies superstar. Thanks to Thompson's heroics, the Warriors escaped with a 117-116 win in Game 1.
Before his game-saving defensive stop, however, Thompson missed two crucial free throws on the offensive end. It was very uncharacteristic from the Warriors star, who had a strong message about his two missed attempts from the charity stripe after the game:
“F–k those free throws,” Thompson exclaimed (h/t Bleacher Report on Twitter).

Talk about redeeming yourself after a bad break. That's exactly what Thompson did on Monday night as he helped lead the Warriors to a crucial Game 1 victory on Memphis' home floor.
Klay Thompson finished Monday's victory with 15 points on 6-of-19 shooting, to go along with one rebound, three assists, two steals, and a block. It wasn't the most efficient night for the Warriors shooting guard as he went just 3-of-10 from distance while also missing both of his free throw attempts.
