The Golden State Warriors earned a much-needed 116-102 win over the Denver Nuggets in a potential Western Conference Finals showdown at Oracle Arena.
The fans were clearly behind the Dubs during the game, and the arena had a playoff-like atmosphere once again.
After the game, Warriors guard Klay Thompson gave huge props to the crowd, as their presence was an added motivation to the team:

Thompson, who criticized the crowd earlier this season for their lack of energy, was very complimentary of the fans on Tuesday night. He was appreciative of their efforts during a win that essentially clinched the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.
The Warriors will need the same energy from the crowd in the playoffs, especially since they are expected to have home-court advantage at least until the NBA Finals.
The Dubs are aiming to win their third straight title before leaving Oracle Arena to play at the Chase Center next season. They want to give the Oakland fans a proper send-off after all these years of incredible support.
Golden State is now two games above Denver for the best record in the West, and with both teams having five games left each, there's a slim chance that the Nuggets will still be able to steal the top seed in the conference.
