It was earlier reported that the Golden State Warriors are anticipating Klay Thompson's much-awaited return to happen sometime before Christmas Day. This put Dub Nation into a frenzy now that we've finally gotten a (somewhat) firm target date for Thompson's return to action after spending the past two seasons on the shelf.

Thompson has now come out with his message to Warriors fans as he closes in on what is definitely one of the most highly-anticipated comebacks in recent memory:

“Hey Dub Nation, it's coming,” Thompson wrote on Instagram (h/t Dime on Twitter). “Just stay patient with me.”

Thompson has been ramping up his activity over the past few weeks and at this point, it is clear that he's getting very close. He's now asking for a little bit more patience from the Warriors faithful. The best-case scenario is that he makes his season debut on December 23rd, which at this point, is still more than a month away. This is probably going to be the longest month in Klay's road to recovery, and similarly, Warriors fans will need to hold out a little bit longer.

Right now, we're all praying that there are no more setbacks in Thompson's rehab. This man absolutely deserves to return to the court and quite honestly, we all need him back out there.
