Golden State Warriors marksman Klay Thompson decided to throw a playful jab at Draymond Green following Monday morning's Media Day gathering.

Like most other teams, the Warriors had their players pose for a series of photos. In one such picture, Thompson can be seen standing alongside some of his teammates, including Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and D'Angelo Russell.

After the team posted the photo to social media, Thompson decided to have a little fun with Green in the comment section, saying: “Whole lotta splash… and Dray.”

Though he isn't one of “The Splash Brothers,” Green has established himself as the heartbeat of the Warriors organization. Often times, the team goes as he goes. He gets a bit heated at times, it's true. However, his teammates usually rally behind his enthusiasm on the court.

Green is coming off of a down year with regards to statistics. Not because he's taken a step back, but because there were several scoring options on the team, including Kevin Durant, who signed with the Brooklyn Nets this offseason.

In his 66 appearances with the Warriors last season, Green racked up averages of 7.4 points on 44.5 percent shooting from the field (28.5 percent from beyond the arc), 7.3 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks in 31.3 minutes per outing.

The Warriors finished the 2018-19 regular season campaign with an impressive 57-25 overall record, earning a No. 1 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Unfortunately, though, Golden State was defeated by the Tornto Raptors in the Finals, 4-2.
