Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson is focused on winning his fourth championship and hasn't even thought about free agency, according to his dad, Mychal.

Thompson becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Thompson and the Warriors are widely expected to come to terms on a long-term contract once free agency starts on July 1. The All-Star sharpshooter has said multiple times he wants to spend his entire career with the Warriors.

However, if the Dubs don't offer Thompson a max contract, the guard could take a free agent meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers or Clippers. Both LA teams have cap space this summer to sign max contract players.

Thompson and the Warriors are currently up 2-1 on the Houston Rockets in the second round of the playoffs. Golden State is trying to win its third-straight championship and fourth ring in five years. Thompson is averaging 17.1 points through nine playoff games while shooting 44.4 percent from the field, 39.3 percent from beyond the arc and 93.3 percent from the free-throw line.

It would be a major shock if Thompson doesn't re-sign with the Warriors this summer. If Kevin Durant leaves Golden State in free agency, the Dubs would have more money to offer Thompson. The last thing the Warriors want to do is lose Durant and Thompson in the same offseason.
