The NBA will remove an upcoming matchup between the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans from the national television schedule. The December 20th tilt between the two Western Conference clubs is the Warriors' third game from December erased from national television.
Per Wes Goldberg in the Red Bluff Daily News:
The NBA is removing Golden State’s Dec. 20 game against the New Orleans Pelicans from the national TV schedule, as both the Warriors (5-23) and Pelicans (6-21) sit at the bottom of the Western Conference standings. The NBA took two Warriors games off of national TV earlier in December.

Golden State has another national game on the calendar coming up, however—their Christmas Day matchup against the Houston Rockets. The Warriors have been ailing during the 2019-20 season, with All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson out for likely the entire season and two-time MVP point guard Stephen Curry is sidelined indefinitely. The Bay Area franchise has had to rely on a bevy of young players and rookies to make up their active roster.
The Pelicans, meanwhile, are still without rookie phenom Zion Williamson, who underwent surgery of a meniscus tear in his knee before the start of the season, delaying his regular season debut after appearing in the preseason for New Orleans. The Pelicans selected the Duke product Williamson, 19, with the first overall pick in last June's draft. Williamson has picked up national attention from basketball fans stretching back to his single season at Duke and even during the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League, but he has yet to step on the floor for an official game.
