Facebook is launching a new series with Unanimous Media called “Stephen vs. the Game” The series, directed by Stephen Curry's production company and Gotham Chopra, will air this upcoming spring.

This comes after Facebook's successful series launch of “Tom vs. Time,” a similar project focusing on New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

The show from both enterprises will have content of Curry from the past year or so. This includes his championship last year with the Golden State Warriors, as well as more personal aspects of his life.

The series will offer behind the scenes footage of his physical training, his family life, his faith and some home video from his youth basketball career. Overall, the miniseries will be a very in-depth taste of what it is like living the life of Curry.

Facebook's vice president of global sports and media partnerships told the Washington Post:

“We believe that athletes are their own media companies. And via social platforms like ours, we’re really focusing on athletes being able to take advantage of this medium in ways that weren’t possible before… This is a really powerful trend that’s happening, and Stephen is one of the leaders in the space.”

Stephen Curry has had another excellent season for the Warriors this season. He's averaging 28.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists while shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 44.9 percent from beyond the arc.

The Warriors are 40-15 on the season and currently sit in the 1st seed of the NBA's Western Conference.
