The Golden State Warriors have lost four of their last five games, and the last two defeats were disastrous. Against the Dallas Mavericks, the Warriors led by as many as 19 points in the fourth quarter before relinquishing the lead. Then on Tuesday, the Warriors gave up a season-high 129 points to the Minnesota Timberwolves. This tough stretch of games was all played without All-Star Draymond Green.
When Green returns a ton of the Warriors' problems will be fixed, but Stephen Curry pointed out some issues that have nothing to do with missing his running mate.
“I think consistency, focus, and just understanding how certain teams have tried to execute against us and what we can do,” Curry told ClutchPoints. “I'm talking about defensively mostly, and what we can do to kind of counter that…We have to be more in sync as a five-man unit with whoever's out there. We have to realize how hard it is to win in this league. Guys that's been around know what it takes.”
Curry scored a team-high 34 points in the loss, it was his 18th 30-point game of the season. It was a good performance, but his opposition Karl-Anthony Towns replied with a game-high 39 points and nine rebounds.

The Dubs had six players score in double figures but they didn't have any answers for Minnesota on defense. They got everything they wanted offensively and there was nothing the Warriors could do to stop the bleeding.
Tuesday night ended with a final score of 129-114. It was the first loss at the start of a four-game road trip for the Dubs. Their next game is on Thursday when they take on the Dallas Mavericks, as they try to bounce back from a two-game skid.
