After breaking Ray Allen's record for the most 3-pointers in NBA history, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry just has the perfect idea to commemorate it.

On Friday, Curry announced on Twitter that he has partnered with two artists in Floyd Norman and Andrea McDonald. Norman is Disney's first Black animator, while McDonald is a recent college graduate who has gone viral for her recent artworks of athletes and other famous people.

According to the Warriors superstar, he will be releasing a total of 2974 NFTs. Simply put, his record-breaking 2974 3-pointers will be made into NFTs with accompanying sketches that are made out of “2974.”

Here are the full details of the NFT drop, with minting set to go live on Monday:

The 2974 Collection commemorates the new all-time 3-point record achieved by Stephen Curry. There is one NFT for each 3-pointer, from his first to the record-setter. Each NFT also contains one of four sketches created entirely out of the number “2974,” along with the date, location, Stephen’s digital signature and any special moments associated with the game.

The proceeds of Stephen Curry's NFT sale will benefit his Eat. Learn. Play. foundation. While there is no specific estimate on how much it will make, there is no doubt that it could earn hundred thousands to million given the current craze in Non-Fungible Tokens.

Curry surpassed Ray Allen's mark during the Warriors' meeting with the New York Knicks on Tuesday. He needed just two triples in the game to claim the throne, and he did so right in the first quarter of the game.
