The Golden State Warriors dynasty is not ever — it merely took a two-year break. This is what the Dubs are set out to prove right now as they look to win their fourth NBA championship in six years against a young and hungry Boston Celtics side.

On the eve of Thursday's Game 1 matchup, Warriors big man Kevon Looney spoke about how special Golden State's stars are. The Dubs center firmly believes that the Big 3 of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green truly changed the game as we know it:

“This shows how special of a trio they are,” Looney said, via NBA on Twitter. “They were able to win under different circumstances, different teams, different eras, different styles of play. When they first won it the NBA was a lot different. The style of play was a lot different… They came in and changed the NBA.”

Looney singled out Green for how he “revolutionized the big man spot” and how the former Defensive Player of the Year “kinda got rid of the power forward position.” I see no lies here.

At this point, the Celtics are hoping to turn history in their favor. The Warriors may be the old guards in this series, but there is no doubt that they are equally hungry for another title.
