The NBA's annual general manager survey gave Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry the nod as the league's best point guard, garnering a hefty 57 percent of the vote. Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder followed in second place with 17 percent of the vote, only a year removed from winning his first MVP award, while Houston Rockets dime maestro Chris Paul and Boston Celtics scoring point man Kyrie Irving tied for third with 10 percent of the vote.
Reigning MVP James Harden got only 7 percent of the vote, but did muster the title of best shooting guard in the league. Oddly enough, Curry also garnered 7 percent of the vote in the shooting guard category.
Curry led all point guards last season with 62 percent of the vote, so he saw his lead slightly diminish, despite hoisting three NBA championships and two MVP awards within the last four seasons.
