Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is dealing with a tailbone issue that will not go away. Daily fantasy basketball players need to take note, as do fans of the superstar.
Curry has been ruled out for Friday's showdown with the Toronto Raptors. He spoke Friday afternoon about why the injury has been so frustrating, noting his comfort level varies on a daily basis. Curry cited it often depends on how he feels when he walks up in the morning.

It seems fantasy basketball managers will have to consistently monitor the issue going forward.
Stephen Curry missed five straight games between March 19 and March 26. He returned with a flurry in each of the last two games, scoring 68 combined points. The two-time MVP hung a 36-point, 11-rebound double-double on the Miami Heat in Thursday's loss.
Of course, it is entirely possible the Dubs are simply being cautious with Curry in the second leg of a back-to-back. It is not unlike teams to hold star players out with nagging injuries as the season rolls along.

That said, the Warriors desperately need Curry on the floor for the stretch run.
Golden State is barely clinging to the 10th spot in the Western Conference, which would make the Dubs the final team in the play-in tournament. The Warriors are just one game ahead of the Sacramento Kings, though they are also a half-game back of the ninth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies and two games back of the San Antonio Spurs for the eighth seed.
Curry has been the team's engine throughout the course of his MVP-caliber season. He has likely been a delight for fantasy managers as well, averaging 29.2 points, 6.1 assists and 5.5 rebounds while also shooting 41 percent from beyond the arc.
However, managers should be wary of the tailbone injury going forward.
