The Golden State Warriors were proven to have the deadliest array of shooters in the NBA, as the league's annual general manager survey revealed Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant finished first, second and third, respectively, in the voting for best pure shooter.

Curry led the way with 73 percent of the voting, while backcourt mate Thompson finished with 20 percent and Durant with 3 percent, tied with Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving. That means 29 of 30 general managers voted for a Warriors player as the best pure shooter in the league, giving Curry 22 votes, Thompson six and Durant one vote, respectively.

This is why it has proven so tough to dethrone the Warriors in the past two seasons, given they boast the creme de la creme of NBA shooters in a star-studded lineup. All three players shot near 50 percent from the floor and a blistering 42 percent or better from beyond the arc, making them a plethora of snipers in one lineup.

Perhaps what has proven even more troublesome is Thompson and Durant's relentless defensive prowess, along with Curry's solid work, which showed in the postseason after being targeted on numerous switches during the Western Conference Finals.

Thompson also led the vote as the best player moving without the ball, following the legend of Reggie Miller and Rip Hamilton as legendary shooting guards who have mastered the art of making themselves an open target.

Durant and Curry came in first and second, respectively, when GMs were asked which player they would want taking a shot with the game on the line. Durant got the nod with 40 percent of the vote, while Curry garnered 27 percent, as two-thirds of NBA executives would trust the deadly sharpshooters to sink in the dagger when it's clutch time.
