Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry failed to lead his team to a championship this season, losing in six games to the Toronto Raptors in the recently concluded NBA Finals.
One of the biggest disadvantages the Warriors had to deal with throughout the series was the injuries to two of their best players. Kevin Durant suffered a ruptured Achilles in Game 5 while Klay Thompson had an ACL tear in Game 6.
Still, the Warriors had the opportunity to send the series to Game 7. However, Curry missed a potential game-winner in Game 6, which eventually led to their demise.
Curry was asked by NY Times' Sopan Deb if he regrets his Game 6 blunder, but the two-time MVP firmly said no. He added that if he only has one regret in the playoffs, and that happened in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.

I’m cool.”
The 2016 Finals is probably one of the most painful losses for the Warriors. They already had a 3-1 lead against the Cleveland Cavaliers and they only needed one more win to hoist the title that year. However, they allowed the Eastern Conference representatives to come back and steal the series and the championship in Game 7.
The Warriors have already allowed two franchise to win first-ever championships at their expense, But they are not rattled. Curry himself, understands that there will always be winners and losers in basketball.
They just happen to be at the wrong end of history, twice.
