The Golden State Warriors defeated the Washington Wizards on Thursday by a final score of 126-118, but head coach Steve Kerr still found a way to be mad at his team.
Steve Kerr told local reporters on Saturday his team didn't play well enough to give minutes to Quinn Cook, Marcus Derrickson and Damion Lee, who all grew up in the D.C. area, per Mark Medina of The Mercury News.
Steve Kerr mad about Warriors' game vs. Wizards because they didn't play well enough for Kerr to give minutes to Quinn Cook, Marcus Derrickson & Damion Lee, who all grew up in the DC area. Kevin Durant blames himself https://t.co/cwobVMZbfV

The Warriors were outscored 26-22 in the fourth quarter by the Wizards. Stephen Curry, who finished with 38 points, played 35 minutes. Kevin Durant played 37 minutes and scored 21 points. Klay Thompson was out there for 36 minutes and notched just nine points.
How good are the Warriors right now? Their coach is complaining that the team isn't blowing other clubs out so he can get his back-end players in the game! Life is undoubtedly pretty good for Kerr and the Dubs.
Golden State enters Saturday with a record of 34-14, first place in the Western Conference standings.
The Warriors take on Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics on Saturday night in what could be a championship preview. Kerr is right in the sense that Golden State has to play for a full 48 minutes if they want to defeat Boston, who is 30-18 on the season and riding a five-game winning streak.
