For Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics was the real turning point of the series. After all, it is the game when Stephen Curry unleashed his whole arsenal to help the Dubs tie things up at 2-2.
Speaking on The TK Show with Tim Kawakami of The Athletic, Kerr reflected on the pivotal moment and how it impacted the rest of the series. Curry scored 10 points in that span, allowing the Warriors to run away with the victory. After that epic performance from Steph and shocking collapse from the Celtics, the Warriors never lost again as they closed out the series in Game 6.
The 34-year-old Curry played really well throughout the Finals–putting no doubt about his Finals MVP win–but as Steve Kerr said it, that Game 4 display was monumental and perhaps the most important of the series.
