The Golden State Warriors recorded their 14th win in their last 15 games on Friday, as they secured a victory against the lowly Phoenix Suns, 117-107. However, it was anything but a routine victory, with the Suns putting up a good fight against the defending champs.
After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr admitted that his team had a terrible outing, and that they came out victorious thanks only to the Dubs' superiority in talent.

But they got 20 more field-goal attempts, I think we had 18, 19 turnovers. They got 19 offensive boards. So Phoenix played really well, harder, smarter than us.”
Kerr seems very disappointed with his team's performance on the evening, and pretty much admitted that the Warriors did not deserve the victory tonight.
The Suns are the second-worst team in the league right now with a 11-46 record, but they came out with a devil-may-care attitude against the second-best team in the NBA in the Warriors. Their grit and determination almost paid off against the lackluster Warriors, and had it not been for the Golden State bench (they were a combined +66, compared to the starters who were collectively -16), Phoenix would have probably secured their biggest win of the season.
The Warriors are slated to face the Miami Heat on Sunday, and surely, coach Kerr will have a thing or two to say to his team to get them motivated for that one.
