The Golden State Warriors managed to defeat the Indiana Pacers in convincing fashion on Monday night. There is no question that point guard Stephen Curry played a major role in this win with an efficient night from the field.
It did not take long for Curry to find his touch in this one. According to Mark Medina of The Mercury News, head coach Steve Kerr feels he is always on the verge of catching heat:

There is certainly plenty of truth to Kerr's comments. One of the risks that come with being a shooter is that an off night could mean disaster. Fortunately, Curry is one of the few exceptions where all he needs is one shot to fall in order to find his rhythm. This is why he is already widely considered the greatest shooter in NBA history.
He provided a reminder of why that is against Indiana. Curry registered 26 points while shooting 10-of-13 from the field and 6-of-8 from the three-point line in just 27 minutes. His efficiency helped put the game away early as Golden State went on to secure a 32-point win.
The Warriors have now managed to piece together an 11-game win streak over the past few weeks. It is encouraging to see that they have managed to win while getting center DeMarcus Cousins assimilated back into the lineup. They will need Curry to maintain his hot hand going into the upcoming All-Star break.
