Everybody expected Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant to come out firing in Game 3 against the Los Angeles Clippers after he was harshly criticized for his Game 2 performance in which he took just eight shots and turned the ball over nine times. Sure enough, Durant came out with a vengeance and dumped 38 points on the Clippers in a 132-105 Warriors domination.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr wasn't surprised by Durant's big performance. Kerr had called for his star forward to be more aggressive in Game 3, so he saw this coming:

There are plenty of people who agree with Kerr's assessment. Durant is one of the best scorers of all time and also a terrific playmaker as well, and both skills were on display in Golden State's Game 3 victory. The superstar went 14-of-23 from the field and also handed out seven assists in his 30 minutes of action.
What Durant can do at his size is truly special, and it's what makes him basically unguardable when he's engaged and fully locked in. While he has had his issues against Patrick Beverley this series, we saw that Beverley and the Clippers can't do much about KD when he's at the top of his game like he was on Thursday night.
Steve Kerr will want Kevin Durant to keep up this aggressiveness moving forward, as long as it remains in the flow of the offense. Game 4 is on Sunday.
