The Mecca of basketball is New York City's Madison Square Garden. It's the oldest arena in the NBA and the home of the New York Knicks. On Tuesday, MSG will be the home of Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry for one night.

“It's the Mecca. This is the place you ask every player in the NBA their favorite arena, and I would guess a majority would say the Garden… It's my favorite atmosphere in the league. There's a ton of history here. It's New York. It'd be great if it happened tonight,” Steve Kerr told ClutchPoints about Curry possibly setting a new record in MSG.

The 3-point shooting king enters the game two triples away from passing Ray Allen. Once he makes those two shots, he would have made more threes than any player in NBA history. Then Curry will have a chance to set the new bar to unreachable heights.

It all goes down in one of the most iconic arenas in the NBA. It will be a packed house. Not to see the Knicks play but to see the living legend Stephen Curry make history.

The last few games have been somewhat of a struggle for Curry and his Warriors, but the moment is finally here. There's only a slight chance that Curry won't make two 3-pointers, but no betting man will put his money on those odds.

After this game, the Warriors superstar will be the lone leader in 3-pointers made, adding some more history to one of the best arenas to play in Madison Square Garden.
