The Golden State Warriors enter Saturday's tilt against the Memphis Grizzlies without their superstar point guard Stephen Curry, who is currently dealing with a tailbone injury. Ahead of the game, Dubs head coach Steve Kerr was asked about his star's injury and unsurprisingly, the three-time NBA champion coach was cryptic in his response.
Coach Kerr refused to provide a timetable on Steph's return to action (h/t Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle):
Steve Kerr was non-committal about when Steph Curry will be back. "When he's ready," Kerr said, "he'll be back."

Curry injured his tailbone on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets as he fell on the cement floor after shooting a three-pointer. He was unable to suit up for the Warriors' 116-103 win over the Grizzlies on Friday night.
Article Continues BelowSaturday will be Curry's second straight game on the shelf, and at this point, it's getting a bit worrisome. The injury does not seem to be too serious, but the fact that the Warriors have not given the former back-to-back MVP a firm timetable to return seems to imply that he could be out for a rather extended period.
Then again, coach Kerr could be withholding some information here, and Steph could very well come back for the Warriors' next contest — a marquee matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. After all, Curry was not immediately ruled out for Saturday's game. He was tagged as “very doubtful,” though.
What we can be sure of here is that the Warriors aren't going to force Curry back into action up and until he's ready. The last thing they want is for their star to aggravate the injury especially considering how their fight for a postseason spot appears to be a battle that will go down the wire.
