Reports surfaced that the Golden State Warriors would not play Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Otto Porter Jr. in Miami for the second half of back-to-back games. This has been a normal practice for the Warriors all season, but since the Warriors have played so poorly, some thought Steve Kerr would end the trend.
“These decisions are based on process, not on the results of the previous night's games,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “We are just following the process, and it's important that we keep these guys healthy with the playoffs coming up. We're just making the wise decision.”
The Dubs haven't won a game since their superstar Stephen Curry injured his foot. They are playing some of their worst basketball of the season, and their most recent defeat was against the Orlando Magic. They lost that game 94-90 on Tuesday, extending their losing streak to three games.
