Atlanta Hawks rookie power forward John Collins has been diagnosed with a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder, after exams came with no structural damage. He is expected to miss two-to-three weeks with the injury, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

The good news is that the 19-year-old avoided a tear, which could have easily ended his season, depending on the gravity. His two-to-three week timeline should make him miss a minimum of eight games and a max of 12, according to how he heals from this injury.
Ersan Ilyasova is likely to pick up the majority of minutes in his absence after finishing Thursday's outing with a season-high 22 points. Luke Babbitt should also figure some additional time at the four-spot until Collins makes his return.
