With only a few weeks before the start of next season, the Miami Heat have made their decision on which company will have the privilege of having their logos on the team’s jerseys. They recently announced that they have partnered with South Florida-based company Ultimate Software , who has won the competition to advertise on the uniforms.

The Heat’s executive vice president and revenue officer, John Vidalin, spoke about their excitement to work with Ultimate Software, especially on some community programs, via Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. He then added that they made sure their new partners also share the same values as their organization, and were thrilled to find out that they have always been active in helping residents of the Sunshine State.

“We are extremely proud to have Ultimate Software as the first partner on the Miami Heat Jersey,” Vidalin said. This is truly a historic opportunity and we are thrilled that we will be partnering with a company based here in South Florida.”

“This opportunity is not something we took lightly. It was important for us to find a partner that had similar beliefs and values and Ultimate Software definitely fits that bill. They have been a longstanding partner of the Heat’s, with a rich history of giving back to the South Florida community.”

Ultimate Software was founded by their CEO and president Scott Scherr, and is based in Weston, just outside of Miami. They have four offices worldwide, including in Canada, Singapore and England. The company has more than 3,700 employees, and has a reported total revenue of $781 million.

Now that the Heat have chosen them to have their patches on their uniforms, their logo is expected to be seen on its upper left side. Their partnership is also very fitting as the team will promote a budding company, based in their state, which is a win-win situation for both parties.
