Throughout his NBA career, Dwight Howard has established himself as one of the best centers in the league. He often operates inside the paint, finishing near the basket with tip-ins, and on alley-oops as well. However on Wednesday night, he showed off that he also has good handles, and can create his own shot.

With 3:08 left in the second quarter of the game between the visiting Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors, the 6-foot-11 big man pulled off an impressive crossover that left Jakob Poetl, before posterizing Serge Ibaka with a monster slam.

The move got his teammates excited, and even the fans inside the Air Canada Centre, who were still buzzing about it after a few minutes. It goes to show the confidence Howard has this season, which has made it possible for him to turn back the clock and be dominant once again.

A win on the night will end the Hornets’ two-game losing streak, and will improve their record to 9-11 for the year. The Raptors on the other hand, are looking to win their second consecutive game, and move up to 13-7, which is good for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
