Houston Rockets‘ point guard Patrick Beverley was a full participant during the team's practice on Friday and is expected to make his season debut anytime next week.
The 28-year-old Arkansas product was ruled out the past three weeks following arthroscopic surgery done on his left knee. The good news for him, as well as the Houston faithful, is that he has fully recovered from the injury and should not receive any minutes restriction when he gets back.
Beverley discussed how his practices have gone and how much he is looking forward to playing once again. He also talked about the amount of work he has been doing even if the team is on the road.

“I've been working out with three trainers here when the guys have been on the road, and I practiced (Friday) and competed at a high level. I did one-on-one and a lot of contact stuff. I'm ready. I'm excited to get back out there and compete.”
His return will be a big boost to the team by adding more depth at the guard rotation and will allow James Harden to play at his natural shooting guard position. The two have played together for three-and-a-half seasons now and have built on and off the court chemistry.
Beverley owns career averages of 9.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.2 steals in 27.8 minutes per game. But more importantly, his experience and defensive acumen is what's expected from him to contribute to the team.
