One of the players who has started the season on fire is Houston Rockets‘ guard James Harden. He has simply been unstoppable so far by playing incredible basketball night in and night out and has proven that he can thrive even when he had to shift to the point guard position. His averages of 28.7 points, 7.8 assists and 12.5 assists in 36.7 minutes per game goes to show how much success he's had this young season.

Not only has The Beard impressed fans, but he has also gotten a lot of praise from players, including his teammate and backcourt-mate, Patrick Beverley. The two have played with the Rockets for almost four seasons now but Beverley knows how special Harden's performances so far in this campaign have been and only had good words for him.

He event went as far as calling him the best playmaker in the league today.

“We've been playing against each other since high school. [Harden] can ball, man; he doesn't get enough credit. I feel like he's the best playmaker in the NBA right now. His IQ is high; every year he gets better. I feel like he doesn't get enough credit, but it's cool. We're going to turn it around this year by getting wins instead.”

Harden has turned a lot of heads with his multiple double-digit assist games the past weeks which is something he has never done consistently in his career yet. If he continues his strong showing as the season progresses, there will be no doubt that he will be in the MVP conversation this year.

Most importantly, the Rockets need to win as much games as they can and try to surpass what they've achieved last year. With the looks of it, Harden is showing no signs of slowing down and will do his best to maintain his numbers and lead his team to a deep playoff run.
