Wanting to make sure his team would feel at home on the road, Rockets owner Leslie Anderson opened his wallet and gave tickets to 150 passionate fans to attend Game 1 between Houston and San Antonio on Monday. And since the game was on the road in San Antonio, Anderson provided a bus to help Rockets fans get to Game 1 from Houston.
From ESPN's Tim MacMahon:
One reason Rockets fans seem so loud (other than the score): Leslie Alexander paid for buses and tickets for 150, including Red Rowdies.

Alexander's generosity may have had a hand in the Rockets beating the Spurs as perhaps encouraged by their fans, Houston blew out San Antonio 126-99 to take a 1-0 lead in the second-round series.
