After trading their former franchise player, Paul George, to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Indiana Pacers are looking to start their rebuilding process with young players as their core. However, that’s not the team's only source of fresh vibes.
Recent online leaks show new designs of the Pacers' home floor. It can be considered a modest upgrade to their logo that has been inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse for plenty of years already.
Missed it earlier, but there was a leak of the Pacers new court. I translated the B&W photo to full-color (h/t @The_King_Bean, @joebobtaco): pic.twitter.com/f9h19dw84D

The new look does seem like a match to their practice facility, which also has a similar logo placed in the middle of the court.
Looks like I was wrong about the baseline wordmark (and probably the sideline wordmarks) being gold. This is the new Pacers practice court: pic.twitter.com/5JSF1z7LVd

The design could very well signal the start of a new era for Pacers basketball, giving its fans something to look forward to despite seeing their former franchise player move on.
