Indiana Pacers fans were a bit turned off with All-Star guard Victor Oladipo following reports that he nonchalantly asked opponents to play with them in front of his teammates while inside the bubble at Walt Disney World. The 28-year-old guard has since denied those claims and once again voiced his commitment to the franchise.
“It is what it is, it’s over with now. Emotions were felt. I have no ill will toward anybody. I love everyone, I pray for everyone, that’s just the kind of guy I am. I just look forward to playing for the Pacers and winning a championship for the state of Indiana,” the Pacers star said in a report by Michael Marot of the Associated Press.
Victor Oladipo has been a hot topic as of late, with multiple teams already targeting him via trade if Indiana puts him in the market. He also recently became one of the world's youngest basketball team owners after joining an ownership group that purchased the New Zealand Breakers of the Australian National Basketball League.

Despite initial reports that he plans to sit out the 2019-20 campaign after recovering from a serious ruptured quad injury, Oladipo soldiered on and returned to the floor last January. He made the trip to Orlando and appeared in a total of 19 games. Oladipo was obviously still shaking off the cobwebs, but he still put up respectable numbers of 14.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 27.8 minutes per game. He drained 39.4 percent of his field goals and 31.7 percent of his triples.
