Utah Jazz centerstone Rudy Gobert has been seen participating in on-court one-on-one drills, as he recovers from a knee injury dating back to an early November clash with the Miami Heat, according to Eric Woodyard of The Deseret News.

Dion Waiters collided with the 7-foot-1 center diving for a lose ball, forcing him out for the remainder of the game and later given a timetable of four-to-six weeks with a bone bruise on his right knee back on Nov. 12, putting his return window around mid-to-late December by those parameters.
Article Continues BelowIt's barely been a couple of weeks since his injury and the signs of him getting back to on-court activity can only be encouraging, as the Jazz are also short point guard Dante Exum (separated shoulder) and forward Joe Johnson (right wrist tendon instability).
Head coach Quin Snyder has put forward Derrick Favors to fill the void left by the absence of The Stifle Tower, in a job done by committee with Ekpe Udoh and Jonas Jerebko covering in the frontcourt.
Gobert will likely have to go through contact work and three-on-three drills before ramping up to full five-on-five scrimmages, but seeing him back on the hardwood is only a good sign for the Frenchman, as his teammates hold down the fort during his absence.
