He may already be 40 years old now, and the oldest active player in the league today, but Sacramento Kings shooting guard Vince Carter can still throw down dunks as good, if not better than the younger ones. He proved just that during their game against the Golden State Warriors on Monday, as he turned back the clock with a tomahawk slam which he made look easy.
Carter's highlight reel worthy play drew a loud cheer even from the fans inside the Oracle Arena, as they appreciated what he can still do even at his advanced age. It also brought some good memories back, as Vinsanity was once one of the most exciting players to watch in all of the NBA.

The eight-time All-Star has only appeared in 10 games so far this season for the Kings, but saw 17 minutes of action of the night. He was able to record four points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one blocked shot across his name, but more importantly, helped his team pull off the upset win against the heavily favored defending champions, 110-106,
Carter was brought in by the Kings in the offseason to serve as a locker room leader and mentor of their young squad. However, as he showed on Monday, he can still produce decent numbers across the board even in limited minutes, which is a testament to how good he is as a player, and how much he has taken care of his body. His ways is definitely a source of inspiration to his young teammates, and he continues to lead by example, proving further that he is someone they can all emulate.
