The Oklahoma City Thunder put the finishing touches on a huge offseason on Saturday morning with the acquisition of All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony.

In the last 2 1/2 years with the Thunder, Kanter had become a valuable contributor to the organization. He had made the transition to becoming a reliable player off the bench for Oklahoma City and was coming off another productive campaign where he averaged 14.3 points on 54.5 percent shooting from the field with 6.7 rebounds in 21.3 minutes per game.

The 25-year-old is now set to embark on the next chapter of his career with the Knicks with the opportunity to etch out a significant role with the team. He could find himself back playing as a starter due to what he brings to the table as a reliable scorer and strong source of rebounding despite his struggles on the defensive end of the floor.

Enes Kanter is set to enter the third year of his four-year, $70 million deal that will pay him $17.8 million and includes a $18.6 million player option for the 2018-19 campaign.
