After his teammate, Enes Kanter, came to his defense stemming from Cleveland Cavaliers star forward LeBron James' controversial comments, New York Knicks rookie Frank Ntilikina has now responded to it himself. However, instead of delivering a fiery statement which was expected by many, he opted to give a laid-back answer.

The Knicks rookie made it known that he is not bothered with what James said. He also added that his opinion will not affect him and his team, as they only want to continue improving.

LeBron caused quite a stir when he recently said in an interview that the Knicks should've drafted Dennis Smith Jr. with the eighth overall pick in last June's draft, as he believes he is a very good player, and that they missed out on the opportunity to add him to their fold. That prompted Kanter to take to his Twitter account, to say that they are more than happy to have Ntilikina.

Ntilikina's response may be a laid-back one, but it also shows a lot of maturity beyond his years. Not a lot of players will be able to control their emotions, yet at only 19-years-old, he has proven that he has his in check, and will not allow comments like James' to affect his game. It is something very admirable from him, which could make him earn the respect of others also playing in the league.
