Lonzo Ball is a gifted passer and that might be enough to keep him in the NBA just because of how special that is, but there is growing concern around the NBA about Ball's shooting, especially at the free throw line.
On the season Ball is averaging 1.3 free throws attempted per game, and on those attempts, he is only shooting 45.9 percent.
Ball isn't eligible for the leaderboards in free throws because he hasn't attempted enough of them, but if he was eligible he would be in near the last place.
Yeah, this is a serious concern. No doubt. https://t.co/c0CI614Mwc

The worst three throw shooter among those qualified is Dwight Howard who is shooting 56.1 percent from the charity stripe.
Ball isn't shooting any better from anywhere else on the court either. He is shooting 36.1 percent from the field, and 31.6 percent from deep.
Article Continues BelowSam Amick of USA Today Sports went to twitter to voice his concern about how Ball's inability to shoot, especially from deep.
“Lonzo Ball in first five games back from injury: 12 of 19 from three-point range. Lonzo in the five games since: 8 of 42 (4 of 29 in last four). I’m super curious to see what kind of shooter he is over the course of time.”
For Lonzo Ball he can be a good player in this league because of his passing but if he is going to be the star he wants to be, and his dad already thinks he is the shot needs to get better.
Now it's unclear if the problem with the shooting is because of the ugly short, or just Ball lacking confidence, but one thing is for sure, something needs to change.
