When it comes to superstitions, one person whose “curse list” you shouldn't be on is that of Bay Area rapper Lil B. When a tweet from 2011 surfaced of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma turned up of him harshly critiquing Lil B, the rapper decided to put the rookie on his curse warning list.

The rapper, who has California roots and was raised in Berkley, took to Twitter to issue a warning to Kuzma.

Luckily, Lakers teammate Jordan Clarkson decided to join in and asked the rapper to cut Kuzma some slack over a tweet from almost seven years ago. Lil B happily accepted the request from the guard, thus sparing Kuzma from any curse.
got you – Lil B

Thank you, Based God. This wasn't the first time Lil B has put a curse on other athletes, such as the Golden State Warriors' forward Kevin Durant (while he was on the Oklahoma City Thunder, as the beef has since been squashed) and Houston Rockets guard James Harden (also been squashed) over the years.
Kyla Kuzma was thankful as well, tweeting out his appreciation for Lil B on Saturday night.
Much love @LILBTHEBASEDGOD https://t.co/fiY1OvXudH

Isn't social media fun? Much love, indeed. The next night, the Kuzma and his young Lakers squad went blow-to-blow with James Harden and the Houston Rockets on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, the Lakers' valiant effort came up just short when they lost a 148-142 heartbreaker to the Rockets at Toyota Center.
