Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has followed up a fantastic year by becoming one of the most dominant players in the league so far in the 2017-18 NBA season. His dynamic skill set, paired with his physical prowess has helped transform the Bucks into serious playoff contenders in the Eastern Conference.

As a result, Antetokounmpo has earned countless praise from NBA players past and present. The most notable has been Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, who recently pegged the “Greek Freak” as one of his favorite players to watch, according to Peter Walsh of SLAM.

“Giannis (Antetokounmpo) is really, really fun to watch,” Bryant said. “The way he plays the game and the passion with which he plays, I love watching Giannis play.”

Bryant added that he is impressed with Antetokounmpo's tenacity on both ends of the floor.

“He's aggressive, he's always attacking at both ends of the floor,” Bryant said.

Kobe Bryant's praise should come as no surprise considering he has expressed similar sentiments since his retirement two seasons ago. He even challenged Giannis Antetokounmpo in the offseason to win this year's MVP award.

Needless to say, he has followed through on that challenge by becoming an early candidate for the prestigious honor. Antetokounmpo is currently averaging 29.7 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. Meanwhile, he continues to be a force on the defensive end with 1.9 steals, and 1.5 blocks nightly.
